Testimonies of devotion, pride and remembrance are carved in stone to pay warm tribute to accomplishments and to the life - not death - of a loved one.  The cemetery is homeland for family memorials that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living.

As a convenience we have included a listing of many of the local cemeteries in our area. A growing number of cemeteries are beginning to publish their own web sites to allow visitors to learn more about their services, fees and applicable bylaws.

CARDS OF THANKSThis is an insertion in the paper where you thank people that helped you during your time of need. Typically people thank their Doctors, Nurses and friends.OBITUARIESThis details the personal data, background, funeral details as well as the survivors of the deceased.  The obituary is prepared by the funeral home and sent electronically to the newspaper.

BASIC OBITThe basic obituary gives detail about where the person passed on, who is survivied by them and the location and date of the funeral.

EXTENDED OBITThe extended obit includes the information found in the basic obit plus details describing the deceased's education, employment, community and church activities, hobbies, family members who have preceded the deceased in death, information about memorial donations and expanded visitation/funeral detail.
