Tim Brandvold, Licensed Funeral Director / Embalmer Office Phone: 503-981-9501 Fax: 503-981-2310 Tim Brandvold, received his Associate of Sciences degree for funeral service at Mt. Hood community college in 2001. Tim has been involved in the funeral industry since 1998 and a member of the Simon-Woodburn Funeral Chapel & Cornwell Colonial Chapel staff since September 2009. Before becoming a funeral director he worked in group housing for the mentally disabled and severely behavioral. Tim enjoys the challenges and rewards of working with families in need, he says, “Working with people in this type of environment, listening to the young and old telling stories of their loved one’s lives and themselves and helping them prepare to memorialize a life is a very unique opportunity. My knowledge has come from many generations before me that believed in educating the families we serve to provide them with the knowledge they need to fulfill a loved one’s final wishes, whether they are pre-planning for themselves or arranging services for a loved one that has died." When Tim is not working he enjoys spending time with his family and two dogs camping on the coast, in the mountains and everywhere in between. Tim also received his pilot’s license in 2006 and loves to fly any opportunity he gets.
